What you’ll do

As the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate an activity program designed to enhance the physical, social, cultural, psychological, and emotional wellbeing of residents. You will develop and facilitate individual and group activities that meet social, recreational, and educational needs, ensuring all work is completed accurately, on time, and in line with organisational policies and procedures. You will also collaborate with residents and their carers to contribute to the development of individualised care plans and provide care that aligns with these plans.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will hold a Bachelor, Diploma, or Certificate of Diversional Therapy, or a Certificate III in Lifestyle and Leisure. You bring effective communication skills, strong organisational and time management abilities, and a good understanding of Aged Care Standards. You have experience supporting adults with cognitive impairment and their carers, and are confident working both independently and as part of a team. You are highly motivated, willing to learn, and skilled in planning, programming, and leading group activities. You are flexible to undertake shifts as required and are confident using computers to support your work.
