What you’ll do 

In this role, you will provide operational leadership and strategic oversight of community nursing services, ensuring all activities align with organisational objectives, policies, and regulatory standards. You will lead workforce planning, including rostering, skill mix allocation, and contingency planning, to ensure safe and effective service delivery. With a strong focus on quality improvement and evidence-based practice, you will drive initiatives that enhance patient safety, promote zero harm principles, and support efficient patient flow. You will foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance with medication management legislation and clinical standards. As a senior leader, you will also represent the organisation with integrity, contribute to strategic planning, and engage stakeholders to strengthen service outcomes and sustainability.

About You 

You are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of five years post-graduate experience, bringing strong clinical credibility and leadership capability. You demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to lead diverse teams and foster a positive, solution-focused culture. Your background includes experience in quality systems, occupational health and safety, education, and accreditation frameworks, and you are confident operating with initiative and limited supervision. You are committed to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and delivering safe, consumer-centred care in alignment with organisational values and strategic priorities.
