About the Role ​

As a Community Care Worker you will contribute to the success of TDHS by assisting older people and people with disabilities to live independently in the community, with activities relating to personal wellbeing, household management and lifestyle.

Duties include:

• Provide personal care and home care services to a high standard
• Monitor clients’ health, wellbeing and personal safety
• Provide a responsive, caring approach to all clients with respect for the dignity and rights of clients at all times.

This position is permanent part time 32 hours per fortnight.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Cert III in Aged Care or Home and Community Care or higher qualification
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence
• Must have own safe and roadworthy vehicle, full comprehensive insurance and be willing to use this
• Possess a high level of customer service
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

All successful applicants are required to satisfactorily clear a National Police Check (conducted by TDHS) and a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Check and Working with Children Check (provided by you). All successful applicants will be required to obtain the annual influenza.
