About the Role
The Social Support Activities Officer is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Social Support Program, under the guidance of the Social Support Coordinator. This role supporting consumers to engage meaningfully in activities that enhance their well-being, promote independence, and ensure culturally appropriate, inclusive experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include facilitating and supervising activities, assisting with meals and transport, conducting care and risk assessments, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for participants. The officer plays a critical role in care planning, program development, and ensuring participant safety, while also maintaining accurate records and supporting the continuous improvement of the program to meet consumer needs. Other duties as directed by the Social Support Coordinator.
