Great Ocean Road Health serves the communities of Lorne, Apollo Bay, and the Surf Coast, providing high-quality, accessible healthcare close to home. Formed in 2019 through the integration of Lorne Community Hospital and Otway Health, we offer a range of services across our Lorne and Apollo Bay campuses. About the Role
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse is to assist with the maintenance of a positive clinical learning environment, the coordination of education programs and provision of professional development to the clinical team.
The Clinical Nurse Educator will:
- Coordinate and deliver (as required) the clinical education program
- Deliver the mandatory annual clinical education session
- Assist with the coordination and support of student placements
- Provide direct clinical education support to nurses.
- Assist all team members with clinical competency assessment.
- Assist with orientation of new staff.
- Provide direct and indirect clinical support through the facilitation and provision of information and training
- Assist with the maintenance of training records
