About the Role
The Cook position assists in the health & wellbeing of patients/residents/staff/volunteers/visitors by providing meals that are nutritionally balanced and prepared in accordance with department Food Safety Program. The aim is to provide a Montessori model of care with food distribution that improves client satisfaction, promotes client recovery and reduces waste. It is essential that the incumbent of this role be passionate about the care and wellbeing of clients.
The Cook is required to prepare, present and organise the service of meals to patients, residents, staff, volunteers, visitors. As directed by the Support Services Manager, the Trade cook will manage the day to day work of self and other staff working at all times to support, lead and promote a cooperative team environment.
