About the role
WARD CLERK – URGENT CARE
Permanent Part Time – up to 24 hours per fortnight
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
The Urgent Care Ward Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support and reception duties in Urgent Care to assist in the effective and efficient management of the department.
What’s required?
- Qualifications in a relevant administration or management field (preferred).
- A commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- A strong focus and passion for customer service.
- Recent clerical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office platforms and demonstrated ability to competently learn additional software programs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and problem solving skills.
- Ability to contribute to continuous quality improvement activities.
