About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our dynamic day surgery team.
Perioperative Services is a friendly work environment with a commitment to education and training.
The successful applicant must be committed to the provision of a high level of customer service and quality health care in a dynamic, fast paced team environment.
What’s required?
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Specific qualifications and/or experience in Perioperative/Day Surgery nursing is desirable however full on the job training could be provided to the successful applicant
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment
- Demonstrated skills in teamwork, leadership and patient advocacy
- Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative/Day Surgery Nursing or a commitment to work towards
- Ability to participate in the after hours on call roster
- Computer literacy
