About the role

 

REGISTERED NURSE - CORANGAMARAH 

Up to full time hours available

Colac Area Health are seeking experienced, passionate Registered Nurses to join our team in Corangamarah Aged Care to support opening additional Aged Care beds.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care to our residents whilst working within and supervising a multidisciplinary team. Our residents deserve the very best nursing care, and our Nurses are an integral part of our care team.

 

What’s required? 

 

  • Current AHPRA registration (Division 1)
  • Previous Aged care experience
  • Experience in dementia, challenging behaviours and age related disease processes
  • The ability to contribute to and inspire a team in the delivery of person-centred care.
  • Compassion and a genuine interest in caring for the elderly, supporting their dignity, choices, and independence.
  • Ability to communicate and build rapport with residents, families and team members
