The Frank Minchinton Centre provides holistic cancer care for patients and their families in the Colac Otway region. The Centre provides a relaxing and friendly atmosphere in modern surrounds. Our dedicated staff are trained professionals and support patients and families through their cancer journey.

 

Who we care for

Anyone with a cancer diagnosis and their family can access the services within the Frank Minchinton Centre. This could be when diagnosed, in remission or relapse.

 

Colac Area Health is a currently seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals for the role of a Registered Nuse in our Frank Minchinton Centre.

What’s required? 

  • Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in cancer nursing is desirable.
  • Day Oncology experience. 
  • Qualification in the administration and management of cytotoxic.
  • Competent in central line management and IV cannulation. 
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
