About the role
REGISTERED NURSE – ACUTE WARD
Permanent Part Time – up to 32 hours per fortnight
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
The role of the Acute Care Registered Nurse is to provide high quality, timely, patient centred bedside care for a wide range of medical and surgical patients including paediatric, general medical, general and specialised surgical (orthopaedics, urology and gynaecology), and palliative care.
What’s required?
- Registered Nurse - Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Completion of graduate year or at least 2 years of medical or surgical nursing experience
- Ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment
- Demonstrated skills in teamwork, leadership and patient advocacy
- Demonstrate skills in teamwork and leadership
- Computer literacy
