About the role
Executive Assistant – Executive Director People and Culture
Maternity Leave Replacement (ASAP – 26.04.2027)
Part time - 16 hours per week
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
This Executive Assistant provides high quality, confidential executive support to the Executive Director of People and Culture.
The role provides administrative support to the governance structure including Board sub committees.
The position develops and manages administrative processes and systems to facilitate effective operation of the Executive team to ensure compliance with Board and organisational policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
This position reports to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer.
What’s required?
Essential
- Previous experience in a senior administration or executive assistant role
- Previous experience in committee support
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and have effective time management
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the provision of confidential administrative/secretarial support at a senior executive level
- Demonstrated strong values driven leadership skills with a commitment to working collaboratively to achieve agreed organisational vision and objectives.
- High level of computer literacy and demonstrated competence; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Desirable
- Post-secondary school qualifications such as a certificate in administration or a relevant field is desirable
- Previous experience working with Boards of Governance
- Previous experience in health care agencies
- Willingness to work out of hours when required
- Extensive experience and expertise in office procedures/administration, including records management
