About the role
ENTRY TO URGENT CARE PROGRAM
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.

- Program to commence in February 2026
- Six month program inclusive of six paid study days
- On completion of this program successful applicants will be expected to have successfully completed advanced life support

- Paediatric emergencies assessment and management
- Procedural sedation
- Mental health in the emergency department
- ADO in the emergency department
- Obstetrics and genealogical emergencies
- ECG interpretation and rhythm recognition
- Advanced life support two day course
What’s required?

- Completion of graduate year or equivalent
- Ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment.
- Demonstrate skills in teamwork and leadership.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekend
