About the role

Colac Area Health provides a mix of Medical, Surgical, Urgent Care and Aged Care services. An opportunity currently exists for Registered Nurses with current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registration (AHPRA) to join our Casual Nurse Bank. The successful applicants will have 1 year recent clinical experience in Acute, Perioperative , Aged Care and Community Nursing Sector and provide;

  • safe effective patient centred care

  • knowledge of contemporary rural practice
  • demonstrated ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment
  • demonstrated skills in teamwork and leadership
  • the ability to work rostered and rotating shifts
  • computer literacy
