  • Make a real community impact with this fantastic temporary full-time role | up to 80 hours (min 48) per fortnight 30/11/2026

About the role

The Trak-Edition Trainer will join a team of trainers responsible for preparing our TrakCare users to switch from Trak-2018 to Trak-Edition. Working closely with the project’s change management, communications, clinical, and project management functions, the individual will be responsible for executing training coordination and delivery components of the Training strategy in collaboration with health services. The trainer will be aligned with up to 4 health services; however, they will support the broader training team as required.

The role will require the individual to prepare TrakCare users for go-live as well as aid Health Services to sustain and embed the changes and maximise the use and adoption of new functionality to enable intended improvements to patient care.

As expected with multi-site enterprise EHR implementations of this nature, the Trak-Edition Trainer will deliver education to a geographically diverse stakeholder group comprised of over 5000 individuals, inclusive of C-suite, medical, nursing, allied health, hospital management and administrative staff. There will be varying levels of digital literacy, so the individual will need to be adaptable to meet learners where they are at.

The role may be based in Warrnambool, Hamilton, Portland or Colac and some intrastate travel to Health Services within the region will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver Trak-Edition education and Train the Trainer (TTT) sessions, ensuring Health Service Super-Users and staff are effectively prepared for system implementation.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate comprehensive training schedules and education rollout activities in collaboration with Health Service Education Leads and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor education participation, completion targets and learning records through GROW and other systems, providing reporting and escalating risks or issues where required.
  • Provide ongoing support and engagement to Health Service Super-Users and stakeholders, including distribution of training resources, addressing queries and tailoring education content to meet Health Service requirements and policies.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training programs, including Train the Trainer and end-user education, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and audience needs.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage learners, provide 1:1 coaching and foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles, with experience applying these in clinical health or health administration settings to deliver high-quality education outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deliver accurate training content, and ensure consistent education delivery standards.
