About the role
As the Ward Clerk you'll be responsible for the delivery of consumer focused administrative support; ensuring equity of access throughout the patient’s journey on the ward and to assist the multidisciplinary team by providing efficient and effective clerical support so as to achieve desired outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver consumer-centred care with a strong focus on patient confidentiality, safety, and accurate documentation in line with organisational standards
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining positive communication and contributing to a supportive team culture
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and information management requirements, including IT systems use, reporting, audits, and mandatory training
- Actively participate in quality improvement activities, OH&S practices, and adherence to Barwon Health policies and clinical standards

- Ability to undertake shift work as required
- Computer literacy
