About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
Operating Services comprises of 10 operating theatres in the main complex and 2 theatres and an endoscopy room in the day procedure centre. We perform approximately 22,000 procedures per year across both areas. Our mission is to ensure the right equipment and resource is available to the right patient at the right time in the right place. We are dedicated to improving access and patient flow to provide a sustainable service that ensures high quality and safe care.
About the role
As a Theatre Technician, you work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in the provision of patient focused holistic health care in order to deliver a quality service and ensure positive patient outcomes achieve desired clinical outcomes.
