About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

 

About the role

The Store person Advanced reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and secondarily the Supply Manager with the primary objectives of this role are to ensure accurate, timely receipt of stocked and non-stocked lines on the Barwon Health supply dock.  The successful candidate will put away stocked items in the appropriate location within the warehouse or oversee distribution of non stocked items to their required location and picking and delivery of internally requisitioned orders.  They will use Imprest process generated stock movements efficiently, providing solid customer service to the organisation. They will liaise with the ward clerks, Nurse Unit Managers and other Barwon health staff to determine appropriate Imprest items and PAR levels by area, and be responsible for checking and restocking these areas including non-clinical clinical and sterile stock areas.
