Sonographer (Grade 3), Medical Imaging

Key responsibilities 

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations competently and independently, delivering high-quality imaging within required timeframes and adapting techniques based on clinical needs.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, provide safe and high-quality care, and adhere to all relevant clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with radiologists, contribute to a 24/7 service (including on-call), and recognise when to escalate or seek guidance from senior staff.
• Support training of students and junior staff, maintain CPD requirements, and actively contribute to ongoing learning and development.

What we’re looking for 

• Successfully completed a post graduate qualification in ultrasound (e.g. DMU or university graduate diploma) 
• Registered with the Australian Sonographer Association Registry (ASAR)
• Excellent time management, communication skills and professionalism
• The Grade 3 Sonographer is a competent practitioner in ultrasound.
