About Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Services (MHDAS)
MHDAS provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.
Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are client centred, accessible and family inclusive. About the facility
Join Barwon Health, a leading regional health service in Australia, offering a unique opportunity to elevate mental health and wellbeing initiatives. As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will play a pivotal role within our integrated, recovery-oriented Mental Health and Wellbeing Local Service for Greater Geelong and Queenscliffe (The Local GGQ), enhancing the mental health outcomes of the community.
About the role

Deliver mental health assessment, consultations to consumers and their families, both within and outside the Locals service.

Exhibit leadership in the continuous development of the Locals service and manage the day-to-day operations of the team.

Provide exceptional clinical and line management supervision for clinical staff within the Locals Service.

Encourage effective collaboration within the Consortium partnership and contribute actively to data reporting, service development, quality improvement, and evaluation for the Locals Services.
This position requires working on a rotating roster with availability for after-hours and weekend duties.
