About the role

Mental Health Therapy Services (MHTS) delivers specialist psychotherapy, peer support and allied health interventions across local and area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

This role sits within a growing, multidisciplinary therapy service focused on improving access to evidence-based psychological care for people experiencing moderate to severe mental illness.

 

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, formulation-driven therapy across inpatient and community settings
  • Work within an interprofessional model of care, contributing to shared clinical decision-making
  • Support service growth, access pathways and contemporary therapeutic models within MHDAS

This is a high-impact role ideal for a clinician seeking complex work, leadership influence, and flexibility.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based therapy, including trauma and personality disorder treatment
  • Contribute to interprofessional care planning, stepped-care pathways and service development
  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to early career psychologists and multidisciplinary staff

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Endorsed Clinical Psychologist with experience in moderate–severe mental illness and complex presentations
  • Strong capability in evidence-based therapies, formulation and risk assessment, including trauma-informed practice
  • A collaborative clinician who can lead, supervise and influence within multidisciplinary teams
