About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
Bellerine Centre 6 North (BC6N) Renal and General Medicine provides a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and education in specialist areas of renal and general medicine. BC6N is a 28 bed ward with a mix of 24 specialty medicine and general medicine beds and four beds that can be used flexibly in response to demand. The ward is located at University Hospital Geelong, only a short walk from the city's vibrant waterfront, botanical gardens, and cosmopolitan CBD.
About the role
As the successful applicant will be required to have excellent communication skills, enthusiastic, deliver high quality care, and have flexibility in rostering. You will possess sound clinical knowledge, experience in acute general medical nursing.
