About the facility 

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.  

 

About the Role
The People Partner is responsible for the effective delivery of contemporary HR services to the organisation and Hesse Rural Health, consistent with best practice and compliant with relevant policies and processes, including providing leadership, coaching and mentoring in line with both Barwon Health’s and Hesse Rural Health’s values and Hesse Rural Health’s strategic priorities.

 

The People Partner acts as a consultant, advisor and advocate across the Region ensuring effective solution-focused approach to resolving complex workplace relations matters, act as first point of contact for all Hesse Rural Health enquiries in collaboration with the Barwon Health team.  This position will perform a key role across the organisation and Hesse Rural Health, supporting the People & Culture Division strategy and initiatives. This role will also focus on providing high-quality, responsive and professional customer-focused day-to-day People & Culture services.

 

This role is based at Staff Hub in North Geelong and two to three days per week on site at Hesse Rural Health (Winchelsea)
