About the role 

The Grade 2 Radiographer/MIT supports the Grade 3 and Grade 4 Radiographer/MIT in the management of the 24/7 Interventional and Hybrid Angiography-CT service.

Key responsibilities 

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging using specialised modalities, applying expert knowledge and adhering to ALARA principles.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, safe imaging practices, and delivery of high-quality patient-centred care.
• Independently operate imaging systems and escalate equipment faults appropriately to maintain service continuity.
• Provide clinical supervision, support, and training to junior staff and students while contributing to a 24/7 roster including on-call and shift work.

What we’re looking for 

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner and a valid Victorian Radiation Use Licence.
• Tertiary qualification recognised by ASMIRT.
• Demonstrated experience and competency across multiple modalities, including CT, fluoroscopy, DSA, and interventional procedures.
• Ability to work independently (including on-call), collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality imaging in line with ALARA principles.
