About the role
The Clinical Psychologist (Grade 3) provides expert psychological assessment and consumer-centred interventions at the Barwon Early Parenting Centre (BEPC). This role supports families with children aged 0–4 years, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and linking families to community supports across the Barwon region. You will also provide secondary consultation to nursing, Early Parenting Practitioners, and other professionals involved in family care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct psychological care to families using evidence-based, consumer-centred approaches
- Deliver secondary consultation to community-based services and multidisciplinary team members
- Support assessment, intake, and care planning in line with BEPC frameworks and best practice
- Participate in service review, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical education for the team
What we’re looking for
- Masters or Doctoral qualification in Clinical, Health or Counselling Psychology with AHPRA registration and specialist endorsement
- Experience working with families with children 0–4 years and strong knowledge of infant mental health and attachment theory
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, providing consultation, supervision, and education to colleagues
- Proven ability to provide evidence-based interventions to clients with diverse psychological and psychiatric needs
