About the facility  

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.  

 

The Optima Project

The Optima project has been established to deliver a digital rostering system that will be rolled out across Barwon Health. The system will provide a centralised platform for creating, managing and adjusting staff rosters, ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time, improving both operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

 

About the role

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the Electronic Rostering project (Optima) to ensure the solution is implemented and benefits are realised. This project is a multi-phase implementation. The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating effective collaboration with SWARH (IT) technical teams, vendor and business stakeholders across Barwon Health and four rural health services, to deliver the project on time and within budget.
