About the role 

As the Project Manager, applications you will be responsible for leading the delivery of ICT projects for Barwon Health and SWARH, principally in the Applications Directorate. The role will lead a team of internal project staff and work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders across Barwon Health to define, scope, cost, quality, schedules, risk and benefits, aligned to the objectives of the project Business Cases. The role will facilitate effective collaboration with external vendors and business stakeholders to deliver ICT projects that align with SWARH and member strategies and are delivered on time and within budget.

 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Lead and deliver ICT projects in line with the SWARH project management framework, ensuring alignment with organisational strategies and governance processes.
  • Coordinate project activities across internal teams, clinical stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage project risks, issues, resources, and dependencies while supporting demand management and portfolio planning.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support collaboration, change management, and delivery of value-focused outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ICT project delivery experience in complex environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience managing vendors and external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and governance capability
