About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the role
To contribute to and be part of the community - based, multidisciplinary area health team to support clients and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence through:
• Comprehensive , co-ordinated and integrated multidisciplinary services,
• Provision of client –centred care to community members from a broad range of backgrounds.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, cost effective community-based Podiatry service.
• Contribute to meeting the program and area health team key performance indicators (KPI’s).
All activities of the position will reflect current best practice standards for Podiatry. The position will operate according to relevant legislation, Barwon Health policies, programs and department guidelines.
