About the role

Join the Physiotherapy Newcomb Primary Care Team and make a meaningful difference to the health and wellbeing of people in the community.

As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based and client-centred physiotherapy across a diverse community caseload. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support consumers from early intervention through to those living with chronic and complex needs.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to service improvement and innovation, while providing supervision, support and development to junior physiotherapists and undergraduate students.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, intervention and care within a community setting.
  • Independently manage a clinical caseload and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide clinical supervision, teaching and support to junior staff and students.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, service development and innovative approaches to community care.

 

What we’re looking for

  • A degree in Physiotherapy from an Australian Physiotherapy Council accredited course.
  • Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Clinical knowledge and experience relevant to the designated clinical area.
  • Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, with a commitment to consumer-centred care.
  • A collaborative approach and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in a community health setting is desirable.
