About the role
The primary role is to undertake the effective and efficient supply of linen to all Barwon Health facilities is the key focus of this position.
The role also undertakes a combination of cleaning & housekeeping, food & beverage, and transport & couriering support across the facility; in accordance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage linen inventory flow: receive deliveries, monitor and record stock levels, and ensure correct quantities are allocated to wards/departments.
- Coordinate distribution and logistics: restock, deliver, and return ward trolleys, ensuring accurate packing and identification for each location/customer.
- Oversee laundry services and special orders: handle patient laundry processes and coordinate individual/special linen requests with the laundry provider
What we’re looking for
- Relevant Certificate II or III qualification in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare, aged care, hospital, or hospitality environments.
- Practical experience in hospital or production laundry/services operations
