Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of cleaning and infection control across clinical and non-clinical areas, including patient rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces
- Maintain floors, furnishings, and equipment through routine and deep cleaning, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
- Manage waste, linen, and consumables, including patient laundry handling and restocking essential supplies
- Prepare and reset patient rooms, including bed making, discharge/terminal and isolation cleans, and equipment turnaround
- Support ward operations with meal service, basic food handling, room setup, and maintaining tidy, presentable facilities
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience in general cleaning, including use of commercial equipment and adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, following established procedures with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills (fluent English) with a commitment to confidentiality, quality care, and organisational values
