About the role

Provide high quality reception/administration services within medical imaging and/or bone densitometry, including patient administration functions - ensuring service expectations of all stakeholders, patients and referring clinicians are met. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Act as the first point of contact, providing a warm, professional experience for patients, visitors, and clinicians.
  • Schedule and manage patient bookings across services, ensuring efficient use of clinical time and smooth patient flow.
  • Accurately register, update, and maintain patient information and correspondence across relevant systems.
  • Support accurate billing and receipting processes in line with Medicare guidelines and organisational requirements.

 

What we’re looking for 

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills - ability to liaise across a broad range of clients/customers, including patients, clinicians, external customers, fellow team members and Barwon Health management 
  • Demonstrated experience working within a team environment in either an administration or customer service position
  • High level of computer literacy including Microsoft 365, with an aptitude to learn new specialised computer programs
  • Ability to work independently, interdependently and flexibly within a multidisciplinary program.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Demonstrated initiative/commitment to achieve desired team/business outcomes
