About the role
The Applications Specialist- Oracle Fusion is responsible for provisioning, configuration, operation and maintenance of Oracle Cloud and associated applications. The role is accountable for day to day product support of the Oracle Cloud ERP application as directed by the Product Manager and is responsible for execution of tasks to troubleshoot and resolve application/functional/technical/integration issues. The role holder will work with business areas to enhance use of the application. The Applications Specialist is responsible for day to day user administration tasks. The role provides functional support to the business and integrations between Oracle and other relevant Barwon Health systems. Integral to the position will be delivery of process improvements that will enhance business productivity and system integrity. The Applications Specialist work on specific projects under the Program of Works as directed by the Product Manager. The Application Specialist, working in conjunction with the Product Manager, will be key to the success of Oracle ERP application to meet Barwon Health’s needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues within Oracle ERP Cloud, including configuration, workflows, and system maintenance.
- Manage user administration and security, including provisioning accounts, reviewing access, and ensuring segregation of duties and appropriate permissions.
- Maintain and enhance system integrity through configuration management, documentation, and accurate upkeep of processes, SOPs, and design documents.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors to identify, implement, and support system improvements, integrations, and releases into production.
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP applications or another ERP system
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Applications and Middleware
- Experience in maintaining Cloud Applications, including Application lifecycle
- Understand the basics of data stewardship
- Demonstrated ability to provide best practice advice for ERP administration, security and working with the software vendor
