About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the role
Barwon Health is seeking suitably experience Allied Health Educators to join a newly established multidisciplinary team of clinical workforce educators.
As an Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator (Grade 3), you will play a pivotal role in leading, supporting, and delivering high-quality clinical education for the occupational therapy workforce organisation wide. Educators will be responsible for leading needs analysis, designing and implementing targeted education programs, and evaluating outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with service needs and strategic priorities.
You will work closely with clinical teams, clinical education and training, subject matter experts, and organisational leaders to ensure best practice learning environments that align with Barwon Health’s strategic goals and clinical excellence. This is a dynamic and collaborative role, ideal for a senior clinician with a passion for developing others, strong communication skills, and demonstrated experience in education, supervision, and interprofessional learning.
