About the  role

Join our Primary Care team as an Occupational Therapist and provide high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy services that support community members to achieve greater independence and wellbeing. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions, contribute to continuous service improvement, and support the delivery of values-based healthcare to people from diverse backgrounds. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping consumers and carers achieve their goals through coordinated, integrated and collaborative care.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments, interventions and care planning within a community setting
  • Manage an independent clinical caseload while working collaboratively with consumers, carers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to service improvement activities, innovation and quality initiatives that enhance consumer outcomes
  • Provide clinical support, supervision and knowledge sharing to junior staff and students

 

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration and experience across a range of clinical settings
  • Experience delivering person-centred care and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and a varied caseload
  • Current SWEP prescriber registration (minimum Green level) and Victorian Driver Licence
