About the facility 

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

 

About the Role

The successful applicant will carry an varied acute caseload to support clinical demand within the hospital. There are opportunities for collaborative teamwork including participation in a daily multidisciplinary discharge planning meeting. The role supports supervision of a Gr 1 Occupational Therapist within the Clinical Rotation Program. The role also supports the learning and development of Allied Health Assistants and Occupational Therapy undergraduate students. The role includes a 1:4 weekend shift requirement.
