About the Role

We are seeking applications for an enthusiastic Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our clinical rotational program, which has:

• 12 rotations across acute, inpatient rehabilitation, community rehabilitation (CRC), community health (CHC) and Child and Family Services settings
• Clinical specialties of orthopaedics, surgical, medicine, neuro rehabilitation, geriatric evaluative management (GEM), trauma and paediatrics
• Bed based rotations inclusive of a weekend and public holiday roster with additional financial rewards with pay and leave for weekend work

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy assessment, intervention and review within multidisciplinary teams
• Manage a clinical caseload appropriate to a Grade 1 role
• Participate in collaborative care planning and outcome measurement
• Contribute to quality improvement activities, service development and clinical projects
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with organisational standards

What we’re looking for

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Clinical knowledge and skills appropriate to a Grade 1 position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision and support
• Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional development
• Experience using clinical information systems and adapting to new technologies
