    About the role

    Join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care within the Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Geelong North.

    In this role, you will provide evidence-based assessment, treatment and care coordination to adults experiencing serious mental illness, working collaboratively with consumers, families and carers to support recovery and wellbeing.

    Our service operates within a contemporary model aligned to the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, prioritising:

    • Consumer-centred and trauma-informed care
    • Family and carer inclusion
    • Timely, coordinated, and accountable service delivery

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments and evidence-based interventions for adults with complex mental health needs
    • Provide recovery-oriented care coordination, partnering with consumers, families and carers
    • Contribute to multidisciplinary team planning, risk assessment and clinical review processes
    • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and uphold professional and legislative standards

     

    What we’re looking for

    • Demonstrated experience in adult community mental health or a related setting
    • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment and continuing care of individuals with serious mental illness
    • Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments with competing priorities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative care
    • A passion for recovery-oriented, person-centred practice
