About the role

This position is part of the Colac Adult & Youth Mental Health Team, delivering integrated mental health, drug and alcohol care to people aged 16–65 across the Barwon region.

With a strong focus on young people, you will lead the delivery of evidence-based, recovery-oriented care to consumers aged 16–25 experiencing complex presentations, including co-occurring substance use and homelessness.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical interventions to young people with complex mental health and AOD needs
  • Provide clinical leadership and line management supervision to staff supporting youth consumers
  • Support integrated care responses addressing comorbidity, psychosocial complexity, and service access barriers
  • Actively contribute to team leadership, service innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Colac Adult & Youth Team
  • Work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated, person-centred care pathways

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Experienced clinician in youth mental health, including dual diagnosis (AOD) and complex presentations
  • Proven ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong commitment to recovery-oriented care and supporting vulnerable young people, including those experiencing homelessness
