About the facility  

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.  

 

About the role 

Applications are invited for a Locum - General Surgery Consultant position at Barwon Health, University Hospital Geelong. Applicants must have a FRACS and be registrable in Victoria.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate strong clinical skills and knowledge as well as possessing excellent communication and interpersonal aptitudes.  A high level of commitment to top quality patient care is essential. 

You will be required to take part in the General Surgical On-Call roster and to maintain general surgical skills.
