About the facility 

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

 

About the role

Are you interested in clerical or administrative tasks, along with an interest in the digital environment? An exciting casual position opportunity has opened to join our well recognised Health Information Services Department based at The University Hospital Geelong.

Health Information Services manages the health records of Barwon Health within a digital environment as well as managing historical records, release of information requests, data integrity and health record forms management. The role includes covering leave across several Health Record Clerk positions and providing assistance with the scanning process.

Hours and days of work are negotiable, and job share will be considered.   

In order to shine in this role, you will need to have strong IT skills, a positive 'can do' attitude, proven ability to manage priorities and have experience in service delivery and health record and relevant legislation knowledge would be an advantage
