About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

 

About the role

Barwon Health is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Board Secretary and members of Barwon Health’s Executive team.

This pivotal role requires exceptional communication skills, sound judgement and discretion, and the ability to manage a broad range of administrative and executive support tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

As the Executive Assistant (Corporate Support), you will:

  • Provide dedicated support to the Board Secretary and members of Barwon Health’s Executive team
  • Manage correspondence and briefing materials
  • Coordinate complex diaries and schedules
  • Maintain accurate record management systems to maximise the efficiency and productivity of the Executive team

Serving as a key point of contact for the office of the Board Secretary, you will handle diverse responsibilities and adapt to shifting priorities. You will also play a critical role in maintaining and improving office systems that underpin governance processes and support the operations of relevant directorates and the corporate office.
