About the role 

The Director, Office of the CEO plays a pivotal leadership role in driving strategic outcomes for Barwon Health by leading high-impact projects and organisational initiatives, providing trusted strategic advice to the Chief Executive and Executive Team, managing complex issues and stakeholder relationships, and delivering innovative, risk-informed solutions that support the future direction and success of the organisation. 

  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives by translating organisational priorities into clear project deliverables, milestones and measurable outcomes
  • Provide high-level strategic advice and develop executive communications, reports and briefing papers for the Chief Executive Officer, Board and Executive leadership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, community and internal stakeholders to support organisational objectives and strategic partnerships
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities including consultations, workshops and communications, while proactively identifying and managing associated risks and issues
  • Coordinate and deliver complex, high-priority organisational projects and executive initiatives that support strategic transformation across Barwon Health

 

What we’re looking for 

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messaging and facilitate engagement across diverse audiences and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence outcomes and establish strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in communications, stakeholder engagement and/or project management within complex organisational environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deliver to deadlines and achieve outcomes in a fast-paced setting
  • Highly collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate stakeholder needs, manage expectations and drive effective outcomes aligned to organisational objectives
