About the role

We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Allied Health Clinician to join our Child and Family Health Services team, based at Barwon Health North. This role is open to any allied health discipline and is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

A key focus of this position is facilitating and coordinating the intake process for Child and Family Health Services, ensuring children and families receive timely access to appropriate care. In addition, you will provide flexible and responsive allied health support to infants and young children (0–6 years) and their families, contributing to high-quality, family-centred service delivery.

You will work closely with allied health colleagues and broader service partners, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and innovative models of care that promote optimal infant and child development.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate the intake and referral process for Child and Family Health Services
  • Provide flexible allied health assessment and intervention to children aged 0–6 years and their families
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support coordinated, family-centred care
  • Contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives and innovative models of care
  • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and communication

  • A registered or accredited allied health professional with strong paediatric experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in infant development and family-centred practice
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating across teams and services
