About the role  

The Clinical Trial Research Support Service (CTRSS) Site Lead / Officer will  be accountable for delivering outcomes of the Clinical Trial Research Support Service –Australian Teletrial Program (CTRSS-ATP) project. The CTRSS-ATP project is an expansion of the CTRSS pilot program, with funding from the MRFF.

The purpose of the CTRSS is to support existing clinical trial research, building Clinical Trial Research capabilities and activity (including tele trials) at all CTRSS project sites.  It is also aimed towards bringing more trials to rural and regional Victoria, with a focus on non-oncology therapy areas

 

Key Responsibilities  

Accountable for the achievement of the Clinical Trial Research Support Service (CTRSS) program outcomes and network support initiatives, including but not limited to:

  • Centre-wide support for ethics, governance, financial management tracking, and feasibility.
  • Project and resource management
  • Centre-wide support for training, coaching and professional development
  • Centre-wide metric reporting for the CTRSS-ATP program
  • Centre-wide support for quality Assurance
  • Development of record and data management systems for CTRSS-ATP project reporting
  • Policy and Procedure development
  • Implementation of new systems, policies and procedures
  • Strategic & Operational Planning, Business case development
  • Assist with CTRSS audits of investigator-initiated studies

 

What we’re looking for  

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Health Science, with current clinical trial experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical trial data management and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of Clinical Trial Practice standards, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and National Statement regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in ethics and governance processes, including use of ERM systems
