About the facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
The Osteoarthritis Healthy Healthy Weight Management Clinic is a multidisciplinary program providing information, education, and support to increase the capacity for people with living with osteoarthritis of the hip or knee to manage their dietary and physical health and wellbeing.
About the role
Join our Osteoarthritis Healthy Weight Management Clinic, helping people across the Barwon region make healthy lifestyle changes and improve their quality of life.
In this role, you will:
- Provide psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions
- Support clients to manage the emotional and behavioural aspects of osteoarthritis
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Offer secondary consultation to the treating team on psychological factors
- Supervise Grade 2 Psychologists and postgraduate students
