About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

 

About the role

Join our Audiology Department and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, safe, and client-centred diagnostic Audiology services across Barwon Health’s sites. This role spans acute, sub-acute, outpatient, and community settings, providing a varied and rewarding clinical experience.

 

As part of the Audiology leadership team, you will:

 

  • Assist with the development of specialist portfolio streams and monitor performance in alignment with business and strategic plans.
  • Provide clinical leadership, expert consultancy, and supervision to Audiology staff, and support professional students.
  • Collaborate with inter-professional Allied Health, Nursing, and Medical teams, promoting audiological expertise in holistic patient care.
  • Lead and supervise specialised areas, including complex paediatric audiology, infant diagnostic and/or vestibular audiology, and advanced ENT clinic services.
  • This leave cover position offers the opportunity to extend your experience across a varied caseload, support junior staff and students, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the Audiology program.
