About the role
We are seeking a motivated Administration Officer to join the Allied Health Office at University Hospital Geelong. This is a client-facing role that plays a vital part in supporting inpatient and outpatient Allied Health services, ensuring patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time. You’ll work closely with clinicians and administration colleagues in a busy, collaborative environment, providing high-quality administrative support and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Provide reception, scheduling, referral processing and accurate data entry for Allied Health services
- Coordinate clinics, appointments and daily workflows across multiple Allied Health disciplines
- Respond professionally to patient and clinician enquiries while maintaining confidentiality
- Support team operations including rostering support, backfill coverage and quality improvement activities
What we’re looking for
- Experience in health administration with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills and confidence using information systems
- A professional, friendly “can-do” approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and work effectively in a fast-paced team
