Job Category - Administration - Administration Assistant
Req Id - 9561
- Be the go-to CMI expert supporting data quality across MHDAS
- Make a real impact on service performance and Activity Based Funding
- Temporary part-time parental leave replacement
About the role
Barwon Health’s Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol Services (MHDAS) provides specialist care across the region. Accurate, timely data underpins that care. It drives our reportable activity to the Department of Health and our Activity Based Funding (ABF).
As Mental Health ABF Admin Officer, you’ll enter community contact stats, episodes of care and Outcome Measures into CMI (Client Maintenance Interface), the statewide mental health system. You’ll also act as technical system administrator for CMI: correcting errors, managing task allocation, and helping maintain the RAPID/CMI front end.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working with people as much as with data. You’ll work across MHDAS with clinicians, managers and administration staff. You’ll deliver data-entry education and run observation and feedback sessions to build understanding of Outcome Measures and contact stats workflows in the EMR. Working closely with the MHDAS Data Analyst, you’ll identify missing Outcome Measures and report on compliance. Your work will help the service reach its yearly Department targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter contact stats, episodes of care and Outcome Measures accurately into CMI, and provide day-to-day technical support to MHDAS staff
- Run compliance reports and audits with the MHDAS Data Analyst, following up gaps and reporting results to managers and clinicians
- Deliver data-entry education, observation and feedback sessions across MHDAS teams
What We Are Looking For
You’re a detail-focused administrator who is confident with systems and data, and you can explain processes clearly to busy clinical teams. You’re organised, persistent with follow-up, and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in data entry, data quality or health information administration, with strong computer and Excel skills
- Experience with CMI/RAPID, an EMR or mental health reporting is highly desirable
Please note Barwon Health will only contact you via our official email and never use unconventional means, such as text messaging or other services.
- Excellent working conditions and a strong sense of job satisfaction
- A vibrant staff wellbeing program and access to our 24/7 Employee Assistance Program
- Extensive professional development opportunities
- Attractive salary packaging benefits
- Living expenses capped at $9,010
- Meals and entertainment capped at $2,650
