About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

 

Barwon South West Aged Care Assessment Service (BSW ACAS/RAS) provides comprehensive and regional home assessments to older persons in the Barwon South Western Region to assist them to identify their care and needs and gain access to appropriate care. These include approvals for Commonwealth Government subsidised care. This is a multidisciplinary service.

 

About the role

You'll provide administration support to ACAS and Regional Assessment Service with general administration duties, audiotyping, file management, data base management, and mailing.

Answering enquiries and providing information to clients, carers and service providers assisting with the referral process. You'll process referrals using My Aged Care database, and referral pathways, and scheduling appointments in consultation with Clinical Triage
